The BFG Edition features enhanced graphics, better audio (with more horror effects), a checkpoint save system, and support for 3D displays and head-mounted displays (HMD). Doom 3: BFG Edition is a remastered version of Doom 3, released worldwide in October 2012 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
